The Fading Layer Chapter 5Marcus ascended the stairs to the Registry with a bounce in his step. They were here. They were really here. He'd waited years, nearly and entire decade, for this day. And he was going to be sure that he did things right. Those two would pay for what they'd robbed him of. What he'd robbed all of them of.   
 Marcus flashed his badge at the two guards as he numbly slipped through the front doors. The years spent gaining the rank of captain within the registry's dispatch force hadn't been easy for him. Balancing the shows of strength and integrity with a sense of both self and collateral preservation was not an easy thing to do. The Fading Layer Chapter 5

The Fading Layer Chapter 4Lee was still feeling a little fuzzy, but he was starting to get a handle on himself again. He hadn't really felt proper since he woke up with Sasha. Something was wrong and he couldn't put his finger on it. At first he thought he was just missing Nikki. It was bound to happen. Having Sasha there, Sasha as he was now at least, was comforting. But Sasha still wasn't Master Nikki.   
 Since coming to town Lee had slowly started to feel better, but he still wasn't entirely sure what was going on. He had recollections of a room full of clocks and an angry man no taller than Lee but at least twice as wide.

NaNoWriMo Chapter 3At the bottom of the manhole cover was a small room resembling an airlock. Sasha wasn't sure what to make of it. The walls were a dark blue. They reminded Sasha of the submarine he and Wilfred had looted.   
"Who's that?" Lee asked looking at Wilfred, who stood propping the torpedo up against the wall. Drinking deeply from a hipflask. Sasha frowned. Hadn't he said there was no booze around?   
"Wilfred." Sasha said. "He's the one who showed me how to get to town."   
"And who's he?" Wilfred asked, his voice was suspicious, and slightly slurred.

Pirates!

so I'm watching the pirates trilogy again, cuz I have to every so often. and I'd forgotten how damn sexy Pirate Norrington from the second movie was. sweet jesus XD

and as much as I love Jack Sparrow I think Pirate Norrington is actually the most attractive character in the entire trilogy. hot damn.

Barbossa also has a certain rugged appeal, he's just the gnarled handsome instead of actually sexually appealing though. too old for my taste, and I think he would smell bloody terrible, but looking at him still makes me happy. XD

these movies are officially my recovering from the worst bender ever movies XD and I can't wait for the fourth one. though the lack of norrington in the fourth movie will sadden me. they killed off so many important characters that they'll need a whole new set of bad guys. unless barbossa goes back to being a villain, which could be. but there are still a whole bunch of characters that will need to be created.

It just keeps booting me to the desktop for no reason, like some sort of malicious program. Except I'm pretty sure I don't have one of those.

thanks ^_^ I got kind of rushed near the end of it, so it starts out a lot stronger than it finishes. I may go back and clean it up and flesh out the end later on. after NaNoWriMo is over.
